Puerto Rico Gran Canaria
is a modern housing development built around an old fishing town. It has
many facilities to offer the tourist, such as sports and a yacht
harbour for over 50 boats.
The centre is pedestrianized and full of shops, bars and night-clubs.
There are two beached, a large man-made one ideal for watersports and
swimming, and the other, smaller and quieter is good for sunbathing.
Most of the accommodation is situated on the hill, and steep steps lead down to the beach, thus this resort is not recommended to people with young children or health problems.
Puerto de Mogán Gran Canaria
Puerto de Mogán Gran Canaria is a charming fishing port town, with two and three story buildings who have stuck to Canarian architectural tradition and are covered in plants such as Bougainvilla. It is one of the most attractive resorts in the Canaries.
Puerto de Mogán has a modern yacht harbour and
fishing port and a market every friday morning. There are a lot of water
based activities in here such as diving, deep-sea fishing and a submarine
makes seven trips daily.
